I specialize in structural bodywork, which incorporates Swedish relaxation techniques combined with Deep Tissue techniques and Sports Massage philosophy, resulting in a well balanced massage because that’s what really speaks to my own body. I like deep, muscle-specific work, but I also like the gentler, more moderate Swedish for general relaxation and nurturing. My ideal massage contains both. After a massage I feel positive about myself and my life.
I also combine Esalen Massage which is characterized by long strokes punctuated with deep specific work, passive joint movement and personal connection to create a state of awareness and energized relaxation in the receiver.
Prenatal massage is offered for 2nd trimester and beyond.
I generally use light to medium strokes on pregnant women and the work also allows for deep back work. Massage can be calming and soothing on a body that is creating and changing dramatically every day.
I enjoy my work and feel really good about the chance to have a positive impact on people’s health and energy.
I have completed over 500 hours of training at the Body Therapy Center in Palo Alto, where I also volunteer as a teaching assistant. I am licensed in the City of Mountain View and I am fully insured to practice anywhere, anytime.
